Subject- Hoarding And Black Marketing of Medicines During The Pandemic
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I strongly react against black marketing and hoarding of pharmaceuticals during Covid-19. Today when we are facing the most disastrous pandemic of the last 100 years. Some greedy people have started hoarding medicines and equipment needed for the treatment of Covid-19. Some essential medicines like paracetamol and Combiflam are tough to find. The prices of Oxymeters and Thermometers are also highly inflated.
In this time of panic when front-line workers are risking their lives every day, these black marketers and hoarders have turned out to be the real villains. Nobody can justify such a heinous crime.
The concerned authorities must take immediate action against this kind of people. There should be a high fine and strict punishment for these criminals so they think a thousand times before performing these acts.

Subject- Spread Of Fake News About Covid-19 on Social Media
Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper, I would like to highlight the issue of fake information getting shared on social media platforms.
These days social media platforms are widely used for sharing information and news. But many times credibility of such information can be questionable. It is a pity that sometimes these platform is misused to share fake information. During this Pandemic, people should be well informed, and the messages getting forwarded must be cross-checked. But some people, in their ignorance, share information without first checking its credibility. They don’t know that this information can have an impact on the receiver. This kind of news is not Fact-based and can cause widespread panic and stress among sensitive people.
It is time to commit ourselves to stop this culture and only share Fact-based news. We have to realize that just because something is on the internet doesn’t mean it is true. If we receive any information that is not from a credible source, we must not accept it blindly.

Subject- People Procrastinating On Getting Vaccinated
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to highlight the issue of people not getting vaccinated at the time. All of us had been waiting for more than a year for the vaccines to get ready. But now, when it’s here, people are showing reluctance towards getting vaccinated.
After the first wave, the number of active cases in the country started declining. People became careless and ignorant. Even when the experts requested everyone to get vaccinated, they took this advice very casually and didn’t follow through. As we all know, it resulted in a disaster as the number of active cases is at its peak now. The main culprit for such behavior is the rumors that have been floating on social media. These days It is very hard to differentiate between fake and real news on social media. A large number of people are caught in these lies and have developed a fear of getting vaccinated.
The only way out of this situation is to get ourselves vaccinated in time. All of us must understand the severity of this situation and play our part in this battle against Covid. It is our duty as responsible citizens of the nation to spread awareness about this and encourage others to get vaccinated.

Subject- Mental Health Getting Affected Due to Covid-19
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I want to highlight the problem of decreasing mental health due to Covid-19. This virus has turned our world upside down. Most of us have adapted to this new way of life but for some, this shift has not been smooth.
During this pandemic, people are stuck inside their homes for months. Their stress levels are increasing. It has affected them physically as well as mentally. With people now trapped inside their homes, they have glue to their mobile and tv screens for news. But consuming this news can be stressful and exhaustive. During this time of financial difficulty, many people are losing their jobs. All of this pressure has created stress and irritation among people.
But we can’t run away from reality, so we must change our perspective towards this whole situation. We must see it as an opportunity to reinvent ourselves and develop new skills. We have always complained about the lack of time, so this is the perfect opportunity to do what we always wanted to do and start new ventures. Practicing meditation and exercising on a regular basis can also help in relieving stress and improving health. One can also spend time with their family and loved ones.
